For those of you who’ve been crocheting for a while, the term CAL will likely be very familiar – in fact, you may have participated in one or two. But when I first started crochet and was getting used to our special hooky language, I thought CAL was another type of stitch. I’d never participated in KALs (knit-alongs) or MALs (makealongs), so even once it was clear that CAL meant crochetalong, I still wondered what to expect.
WHAT IS A CAL?
