EDUCATIONAL VIOLIN
A plastic violin designed to make early learning more efficient and affordable
Dutch cello teacher Rinske Bosma, founder of the company Violin Factory, has created a 3D-printed ABS plastic violin for beginner students. As a former tutor in schools, Bosma knows first-hand the issues that can arise when using wooden instruments, from taking half the lesson to tune, to students knocking them and creating damage. ‘Every part of this violin has been designed with these problems in mind,’ she says.
