In reality, is January any less awesome than any other month of the year? We don’t think so, but with the dark days of January approaching we have this bizarre drive to suddenly change who we are, what we eat, our daily routines and our exercise regimes. All of this is fine if you want to make a change for you, but there is also a lot to be said for promoting self-love in January. Yes, we need to look after our physical health, but now, more than ever, is a time when we need to also look at how compassionate we are being to ourselves — is your inner voice as kind to you as you are to others?
