STRICTLY SPLIT: STARS AT WAR?
There are fears the BBC’s flagship Saturday night show Strictly Come Dancing has been left in turmoil following a series of shock revelations about the stars. Fans are claiming hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman could now be at loggerheads and that Tess must be ‘spitting feathers’ at her co-host. The claims come as the BBC was forced to release the salaries of its big earners, publishing a list of employees who make more than £150,000. According to reports, Tess, 48, who has fronted the dance show since it began in 2004, earned between £350,000 and £399,999 last year. Yet Claudia, 45, who only became a permanent presenter on the show in 2014 after Bruce Forsyth
stepped down, is listed as having a salary of between £450,000 and £499,999. That leaves a huge salary discrepancy, with Tess being paid a possible £149,000 less than Claudia.
