Writing Magazine presents a selection of current submission calls from hobby publishers. We strongly recommend that you read back issues, familiarise yourself with their guidelines before submitting and check websites for submission details.
Folkways Press is inviting essay submissions for an anthology about mental ill health. The anthology is intended as a platform for people living with mental illness, working in the field of mental health and people affected to mental illness. Essays should be discussions of mental illness, mental health and circumstances and experiences related to that. Writers of all ages and backgrounds are invited to submit. Submit essays between 2,500 and 3,500 words. Payment is $50 per essay. Submissions close of 31 August. Website: https://folkwayspress.com/
