Valentino Rossi says Sunday’s incredible MotoGP battle at Phillip Island is
the kind of race that keeps him young. The nine-time world champion was locked in a battle with a group of eight riders with an average age of only 25,
compared to his 38 years, and came out on top of all but Marc Marquez after
setting up a series of aggressive last lap overtakes. But despite the age gap, the
Italian says that rather than make him feel old, battles like Sunday’s have the
opposite effect.
