DISCOVER PROFESSIONAL LOW-LIGHT TECHNIQUES
We say it all the time – well, I know I certainly do, at least – photography is all about light. Yes, it’s a cliché, but that’s because, for the most part, it’s very true. Of course, other aspects of photography play a big role in what you are able to achieve – composition, storytelling and creativity, to name but a few, are all hugely important. Generally speaking, though, the better the quality of the light, the better the photo. But quality and quantity are completely different things, and sometimes the best light is to be found when there actually isn’t very much light available at all. That’s why the ability to take great photos in low light is very important. We’ve addressed this with the main feature in this issue, which looks at landscapes, astro and cityscapes.
