Hunt for clusters and nebulae in Cygnus
No need to put your telescope into hibernation on light summer nights
Let’s be honest, June and July are not really the best of months for telescope owners who enjoy looking at faint deep-sky objects.
It never gets truly dark, so the faintest galaxies, nebulae and clusters are lost in the never-ending twilight. But there are still a few things to swing your tube around to - especially in Cygnus, which is almost overhead around midnight - when the night sky is as dark as it going to get.
