Arran filmmaker to host cancer fundraiser

Craig Maclachlan and his dad Douglas are pictured on Arran where Craig has made his home.

Arran film producer, director and actor Craig Maclachlan is hosting a film showcase and networking fundraiser later this month in aid of Marie Curie and Macmillan Cancer Support. Taking place in Loks bar and restaurant in Glasgow, the event will feature films, live music, cosplay, and a charity auction and raffle that will include prizes and goods donated from Arran businesses, with the main prize being an Arran break for two.

Utilising his skills from the film industry, Craig, who runs Maclachlan84 Productions, is hosting the event in honour of his dad Douglas who passed away in October last year from lung cancer.
