It’s all about the kids at the Arran Heritage Museum’s Children’s Day this weekend when children under 12 years old can gain free entry to a host of events aimed solely at fun-seeking, young enquiring minds.
Children’s Day, tomorrow (Sunday), will welcome children and their parents between 12.30pm and 3.30pm for an afternoon of entertainment, interesting events and activities and tasty treats.
Set up outside and under a large marquee in the garden, there will be a children’s tombola, a model railway, cake decorating, felting and embroidery, spinning and weaving, along with many other traditional games. For the younger children there will be story telling, face painting and the popular Bat the Rat game among many other activities guaranteed to keep them entertained for a few hours.
