Following the Reading the Railway Landscape: Between Hornsby and Gosford, this last instalment of Jim Longworths travels from Gosford and Newcastle Interchange to review the many relics that still exist.
Hamilton Tableau, 1906
We analyse a photo that was taken by Ralph Snowball in 1906 of Hamilton. The image was taken from a glass negative, which allows us to review and see details far into the background revealing much beyond the platform face. The analysis extends to further Snowball pictures and plans of Hamilton.
A History Of Gooramma Siding
Greg Blackwell discovers other information about the relatively unknown and insignificant railway siding so and has added some social history to the facts, figures and dates regarding the provision and removal of the various items of infrastructure.
