hen Porsche launched the current 911 GT3, there was a sliver of disappointment
in some quarters over its perceived lack of street-suitability. Lap time-hunting focus had been prioritised. When the wingless, less ostentatious Touring variant arrived with the same viscerally agile but often turbulent manner on less than circuitsmooth surfaces, we knew the steely character of the 992-era GT3 had been set for good.
