Bus technology is at the heart of moves to improve London’s air quality, with everything from clean diesel through hybrid electric to full electric and hydrogen fuel-cell power being used to reduce or even eliminate the exhaust gases coming out of the world-famous red double- and single-deckers providing everyday transport in the UK capital.
