Late Summer Lunkers
As the kids finally go back to school and work life, for most of us has now returned to the 'new normal' why not sit back and put your feet up with this month's free issues of Big Carp and Free Line Magazines. Let's take a look at what we have got coming up in our LATE SUMMER LUNKERS edition of Big Carp first, and we've got some crackers!
This month's cover story is from David Lodge pictured here with a Bayes Water beauty, sadly one or two of the 'A' Team have passed just lately. Undoubtably due to the heatwave we experienced at the tail end of the spawning period as this was not the only water to experience a few mortalities. Next up is Chris Claxton with the next part of his Horton Hippos series, Chris has been haulin' again just lately so I am sure we can expect a part 3 a little further down the line. Dan Cleary makes a timely return this month as we speak of Horton. Of course, Dan has written many articles for us in the past, right back to the early issues when he was taking the Grand Union Canal apart. This month however Dan is fishing further afield as is his passion these days. As the river season is now well underway, of course we will be featuring more and more river pieces. This month we have two from Joseph Savage and Jacques Rose, featuring some river classics. Also, this month some Bedfordshire Bangers from Michael Younger, Emma Rimmer tackles Festival Fishery and Steve Shaw catches some of those amazing looking carp from Abbey Lake. Add to these 20 pages of the latest carpy news and tackle reviews this all adds up to a bumper September edition of your favourite free monthly carp mag.
