Speeding motorist

A driver who exceeded the national speed limit by 24 miles an hour has been fined. Pavanveer Singh Kooner, 26, of 16 Boswell Knowe, Lochgelly, was stopped by police on the A83 near Tayinloan after driving his car at 84 miles per hour in a 60 miles per hour limit.

Defence agent Christian Kane said that Kooner has no previous convictions and that he is apologetic for his speed.
