It might be four months till the festive season but tree decorations featured at the Salvation Army (SA) coffee morning.
Baubles created by the SA’s Wednesday evening craft group, which runs in the Burnside Street hall from 7pm, were some of the items on sale at last Saturday’s monthly event.
The only coffee morning in town was mobbed on a drizzly Saturday but takings at £233.10 were £15 down on July. One holidaymaker from Tayinloan suggested advertising a week earlier, in the Courier’s Community Noticeboard, to allow for planning.
