The Courier Centre baked the world a better place at a takeaway charity coffee morning.
Staff members Rebecca Harvey, Ailie MacBrayne and Hannah O’Hanlon not only baked for last Friday’s Macmillan Cancer Support fundraiser themselves but they involved family too, ending up with enough cakes, tarts and tray-bakes to feed a small army.
As well as plated-up portions of tiffin, flapjacks, cherry mallow slice, shortbread, scones, rocky road, Malteser millionaire’s slice, iced lemon squares, pancakes and fruit loaves, there were slices of Mars Bar chocolate cake, strawberry and hazelnut tart, carrot cake, cream sponge and meringues on off er.
