CARPology Magazine Issue 252 Edición anterior

New issue, new look! For our August issue, we’ve done a bit of design and editorial housekeeping, most noticeably with our Hardware and How-To sections. But we’ll start by telling you about our cover star this month: it’s none other than the hero that is Simon Scott, who kicks off a new series, which starts with him sharing his decades of experience with carp and rigs.

Adam Penning explains how he exploited a loophole to gain an edge, and Elliott Gray talks about Burghfield. We’re also ‘In Conversation with Scott Karabowicz’, who discusses how he maximises limited bank time, his success on Dinton, and midday bite times.

In the new style How-To section, we have a Live Bait Special, where we look at how Tom Maker attaches his worms, the ultimate worm spod mix and why casters and salt is the perfect combo! And in Hardware we test a ‘coiled’ bungee rig, reveal who makes the best catapult and rate our best new ‘short’ rod.
