Auto eMoto dʼEpoca moved to Bologna, Italy, for its 40th event on 26-29 October. Having spent 39 years in Padua, the new site provided double the exhibition space for the classic car show: more than 7000 vehicles were on display, with attendance on the opening day twice that of last year.
The new location was reflected in ahall devoted to the products of Italyʼs ʻmotor valleyʼ, with exhibits new and old from Ferrari, Maserati, Pagani, Dallara and Ducati on display together, while Alfa Romeo showed off one of the famous staircase-fronted 155 V6 TI Touring Cars from the 1990s. Manufacturer support was strong from further afield, too, with Toyota hosting adisplay of Land Cruiser generations. Mercedes-Benz and Bentley joined a total of 14 current manufacturers at the show.
