Gary Kemp starts new solo album

Spandau Ballet songwriter Gary Kemp is working on a new solo album following the band’s split. The guitarist posted an image on Instagram of him at London’s RAK Studios, captioned “own thing”, suggesting his first solo long-player since Little Bruises in 1995 is under way. His brother Martin confirmed the project: “Gary is working on a solo record, I’m doing my own thing – maybe we can meet in the middle.”
