The nation’s favourite TV vicar has become so established as a panel show presence that it’s hard to recall how he previously tried to destabilise the Government with political pop. Meanwhile, Jimmy Somerville only began to accept his talents around the release of his last solo album in 2015 – and has refused all interview requests since.
