Like all modern institutions, coin clubs and coin shows grew slowly until they reached their peak from the 1960s through the 1990s. Unfortunately, in 2019, coin clubs and coin shows are no longer at their peak. The decline in show attendance through the 2000s is mirrored by an equal fall in attendance at local coin clubs. Many clubs are still doing reasonably well, but some of the smaller clubs have fallen by the wayside.
