Ringing endorsement
Tapo is a spin-off brand of Chinese networking manufacturer TP-Link, but it focuses on smart-home gadgets rather than routers and Wi-Fi extenders. We’ve previously reviewed its security cameras and smart plugs, but this is the first Tapo video doorbell we’ve tested. The D235 doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it does offer an excellent alternative to the leading brands in this field, with some great features at an affordable price.
