Check password ‘bits’ in KeePass
It would take the average hacker 160 million years to crack the password Fzl=SE7fl+aUr4j in a brute-force attack. We know this because the new version of password manager KeePass (2.58) gives an “estimated quality” of passwords, measured in ‘bits’ of randomness. The password above is 92 bits. In contrast, a password comprising eight lowercase letters is 35 bits and would take less than an hour to crack.
