Save Paint art and resume where you left off
The latest version of Microsoft Paint (11.2508.361.0) for Windows 11 Insiders lets you save what you’ve made as an editable file, so you can easily pick up where you left off. Once you’re ready to save, click File at the top left followed by ‘Save as project’ (see screenshot below). This will open File Explorer, allowing you to choose a location and save your work as a .paint file. When you’re ready to return to your artwork, simply click the file to open it.
