I’ve always hated SIM cards. They’re one of the worst examples of fiddly tech – like trackpads, earbuds and ports on the back of monitors – where manual precision is crucial. My fingers feel buttered half the time, so I never found it easy to insert these micro-wafers into the tiny slots inside old phones, nor into the sliding trays of newer ones.
