DNA Magazine DNA #261 – Free To Be Edición anterior

English
512 Reseñas   •  English   •   Men's Interest (Gay)
Only €5,99
Don’t we all want to be Free To Be? To live our life on our own terms, comfortable in our own skin? Yes, but it can be hard if you don’t feel accepted or you don’t feel loved and appreciated.

So this month our feature stories celebrate those who have found the courage to say, this is me. We have to hand it to Billy Porter – it took decades before the entertainment industry accepted him, but he stayed true to himself and is enjoying the success that has brought. “To tell my truth about myself is magical,” he tells us in his interview this month.

Australian Olympic gymnast, Dominic Clarke tells us he didn’t reach his athletic peak until he learned to express his full and flamboyant self on the mat.

Musician and adult star, Colton Ford says he’s finding professional satisfaction by combining both sides of his career.

Australian actor and TV presenter Matty Mills has reconnected with his Indigenous culture and says that “being gay and black is definitely the icing on the cake”.

And we take a look at the career of controversial LGBTQIA+ activist Peter Tatchell through the lens of a new documentary, Hating Peter Tatchell, and speak to the film’s director.

Elsewhere in the issue, we look at the worsening situation in Afghanistan, where gay men and the LGBTQIA+ community are now in hiding from the Taliban and we look at the various organisations at work to help bring people safely out of the country.

We take an in-depth look at the history of the sailor and how he became such an icon of gay male sex and desire. Our Straight Mate is foodie, writer, and surfer Hayden Quinn, reality TV’s Davis Mallory says he’s been busy hanging with Lil Nas we review Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

Our cover star is international male model superstar, Dmitry Averyanov, photographed by Amer Mohamad.
