Adecayed, skeletal, cowl-wearing Master as played by Peter Pratt in The Deadly Assassin (1976) was issued in 2010 (see page 53). This yet more desiccated second version was included in a 2011 Forbidden Planet exclusive set dedicated to the Fourth Doctor’s penultimate adventure The Keeper of Traken (1981). A new Master head borrowed the features of Pratt’s replacement Geoffrey Beevers. The set also included a waistcoated Fourth Doctor plus the Master’s two on-screen TARDISes – an articulated Melkur statue and a static grandfather clock, plus a ‘Source Manipulator’ accessory.
Melkur had also featured in Dapol’s range in 1999.
