Can you believe another year has gone by already? I had a lot of challenges last year, so I am excited to get a fresh start in my new home with a new art studio! Over the past few years I have discovered I look forward to hibernating. Not sleeping long hours, but that cozy feeling of staying inside and creating art with no distractions. There are no gently swaying leaves on the trees and green grass to draw me outside.
Back in the day, winter was the only season I dove into miniatures, but these days, it’s at least a few days a week I get to enjoy creating. I hope you are able to sit down and make some beautiful mini things frequently. If you are more of a collector, then you know how wonderful it feels to take everything out of a dollhouse room, clean it and place it back in. This time of year, pack away the miniature Christmas decorations, and start filling your special mini house with spring to help you coast through winter.
