Back at it

Sun, squashed bugs and squiggly roads; what more do you want? We’re back in businessa, nd it feels awesome! Of course, we’re living through changing times, and I appreciate that lockdown might show its pesky head once more by the time this mag reaches you … but let’s hope not. I’m an optimist and while I knoww e’ve all got a roll to play in banishingt his utter bar-stewardo f a virus, I’m keent o see life return to the normality of pre-corona as quickly as possibleA. t this point of writing,t he first UK trackdays have just been given the green light. We’re not going to be on them, but we’re excited for all those who are. It’s also been great to see and hear so many bikers out and about, getting somew ell-deservedm iles in duringt his unprecedenteds tint of greatw eather. The sunshineh as been non-stop,and it’s only helped fuel that desire to get out and ride. Having had the green light, we too got out for some more miles on this issue’sc over bikes- Triumph’sD aytonaM oto2 and 765 Street TripleR S.I don’t believew e do enough to shout about our home-made products, especiallyo nes as brilliantlyd esigneda nd built as these two British offerings. I’ll stop short of giving you the whole prognosis,b ut rest assuredB oothy and I have had some seriously good times on both machinesH. ea lso teamed up with Frodoa nd gave two very expressiveu, niquea nd fast motorcycles a good seeingt oo at Bruntingthorpep roving ground. I’m talking about Ducati’s super punchy Diavela nd Kawasaki’sh ead-bangingH 2.F or beatingF iestasa wayf rom the traffic lights,t here can be no better options.

But whether you’re riding fast, or just bumbling around, there’s a lot to be said for the simple pleasureo f ridinga motorcycle.I t’s beeng reatto haveso much correspondencefr om you guys, telling us what you’ve been up to, what you’ve got planned and, more recentlyw, here you’ve been. There’s a good chunk of 2020 left to exploit, so make the most of it. When the rulings allow, we’ve got some fantastic tests to tick off, but we’re alwaysk eenf or more suggestionss, o drop us a line if there’s a certain test or feature you want covering.W e’re here for you, and we’re gratefulf or the support you’ve shown us throughout this nightmare - thank you! We’re not quite back up to full speed just yet, but we’re twisting that throttle hard, and we hope you are too. Enjoy the mag, stay safe and keep in touch.
