The November issue of Horse&Rider is out now!

Olympic eventer, Laura Collett returns to the riding section with part two of her series on moulding your horse into the ultimate event horse. This month, she shares her favourite gridwork exercise guaranteed to get your horse thinking on his feet. Sir Lee Pearson’s back again with some simple but effective fixes to fine-tune your dressage. Meanwhile, polework guru, Tania Grantham, also joins us for the last in her three-part series of super-fun pole layouts. This month we look at the sweetie.

Flick through our vet section to learn all you need to know about your horse’s suspensories and why these delicate structures deserve your attention when it comes to your management and riding choices. We also take a closer look at arthritis – the common ailment that affects much of the elderly equine population, although it’s important to note it isn’t uncommon in younger sports horses, either.

Looking to move yards? We’ve got five questions you need to ask before uprooting. Desperately trying to avoid a dull or lifeless coat for your horse this winter? Check out our 10 top tips to keep him gleaming. Worried about your yard’s security as the long, dark evenings start to draw in? Our comprehensive 22-point check will keep you and your horse safe.

It's also time for this season’s gear guide! It’s filled with more than 145 autumn/winter must-haves to browse through, from high-vis clothing, gorgeous purple tones and gilets, to bridles, competition gear and so much more. Plus, we’ve tested a selection of the best wellies so you can be fully prepared to wade through the worst of the wintry weather conditions.

We’ve also got the fantastic opportunity for one lucky reader to win a gorgeous Bliss of London Loxley saddle, worth over £2,000.

UK's best-selling equestrian monthly Revisado 13 agosto 2020

Best horse mag ever

Just bought some back issues and a subscription. Used to buy it from the feed barn. Really like the way I can access the old issues whenever I like, and it is so quick to open. And this is the best all round read for me. Revisado 16 julio 2013
