THERE’S A WHEEN of reasons to be scared, angry and rebellious in Scotland today; by far the most painful is to be the partner, parent or child of one presently fighting for life. When that is what is at stake, politics, princes and paycheques are devoid of importance.
So for now all of our efforts must be directed four square at protecting and promoting our own health and that of our NHS. For the chips are down. This is it. And we’re not all getting out of here alive.
