THORNHILL TROJANS A recovered from 24-16 down to beat the RAF ACADEMY 32-24 in Wednesday’s friendly.

A brace by Bailey Lee and a late Sam Ratcliffe try, with Bailey landing two goals, put paid to the bid of the RAF, who had led through touchdowns by Adam Crombie, Stef Crombie, Josh Palombella and Nathan Key, each of which James Jaundrell converted.

Thornhill replied through Jordan Edwards (twice) and Jim Burton, plus two Ryan Mitchell goals.
