Not built up from the ground but cut out from the rock, the Church of St George is one of the wonders of _____. The country was possibly the second in the world to adopt Christianity as an official religion. It stands out in geographical terms too: it became the world’s largest _____ state by population after Eritrea broke away in 1991 (Kazakhstan is the largest by area). The country also had an emperor until the overthrow of Haile Selassie in 1974; he is still revered in Jamaica and other places where the _____ movement is strong. Humanity’s roots in the region go back millions of years, as shown by the discovery of _____, one of the few fossils famous enough to be given a name (in this case inspired by a Beatles song).
