Look after yourself and enjoy the experience: advice for new students

Last night I watched a programme thanking the NHS for all the hard work during the pandemic. Celebrities told touching, funny and heart-breaking tales of their experience with the NHS through the years – tales we all have.

There is not a person in this country that has not been helped by the NHS – from being born in an NHS hospital, doctors’ visits, operations, and palliative care for loved ones.

Our NHS is one thing we all have in common, something that we all love, and something that gives us all a sense of national pride, regardless of our political allegiances, job titles or financial status.
