Here we have a great set of six sets of decals for the de Havilland Devon and Dove from a variety of nations and some lovely colour schemes.
01 Devon C.2, VP981 with No. 207 Squadron at RAF Wyton in 1980. The upper half of the fuselage is painted Gloss White, all other surfaces are in Light Aircraft Grey. A Blue cheat line that runs between the White and Grey is supplied on the decal sheet. 02 Devon, ‘S-1’ with the Fuerza Aerea Argentina in air force and Red Cross markings at Guar Ae El Palomar, Argentina in 1963. Again, the upper fuselage is painted White with most of the rest of the aircraft in High Speed Silver. 03 Devon 7XC, ‘D-IFSC’ with the Kaufmann Air Flugzeugvermietung At Dusseldorf Airport in 1966. The basic scheme was again Gloss White upper fuselage and High Speed Silver lower fuselage and wings. About half the fuselage and the rudder is painted in bands of Flourescent Red. 04 Dove, P1300 with the Pakistani Air Force at Karachi Airport in 1958. The upper fuselage is again painted Gloss White with the rest of the aircraft in Light Aircraft Grey. 05 Sea Devon C.20, XJ319 at RNAS Yeovilton in 1970. This Royal Navy Sea Devon is in overall Gloss Oxford Blue with the exception of the Gloss White upper fuselage and tail fin. 06 Dove, ‘801’ with the Royal Ethiopian Air Force in 1963. This 104 Dove has the usual Gloss White upper fuselage and tail fin with the rest of the airframe in Natural Metal. The Medium Blue trim on the tail fin and wide band along the fuselage is supplied on the decal sheet.
