CalMac ferry MV Clansman has returned to service ahead of schedule.
The vessel, which needed essential repairs carried out to its propulsion system, was due back in service on Wednesday June 13, but returned to its scheduled Oban-Coll-Tiree service on Saturday June 9.
The vessel’s early return allowed the MV Lord of the Isles to deliver an additional Oban to Lochboisdale sailing on Friday June 8, aTher which she restarted the postponed Lochboisdale- Mallaig service on Saturday June 9 along with delivering the Mallaig-Armadale route as scheduled. The additional sailings scheduled on the Barra to Eriskay service continued until Tuesday June 12.
