INVERARAY and District Accordion and Fiddle Club got its season off to a good start with a good crowd turning up at the Inveraray Inn to hear the Robert Nairn Trio.
Fyne Folk opened the evening with a selection of Scottish waltzes and popular pipe marches. Sally Hall, Alex John MacLeod and Jake MacKay were on fiddle, joined by Calum Satchel from Dunoon, who came along for a tune. Agnes Liddell was on keyboard. Colin Sutcliffe, on melodeon, gave nice selections from south of the border and across the Irish Sea.
Jake MacKay on ‘moothie’, with Agnes on keyboard, opened the second half with two pipe marches and Colin played another couple of sets.
