BEAR Scotland and Transport Scotland are consulting on proposals to carry out more than £700,000 of road works on the A828 from Ballachulish to Connel.
The work involves 14 schemes including resurfacing, drainage upgrades, safety barrier installations, cycleway improvements, landscaping and other repairsbetween September 11 and 28 with proposals for up to ten day-time road closures in two phases.
BEAR Scotland says it is conscious of the impact of roadworks on users and is asking the public to provide feedback. The first stage of consultation is already under way with discussions between bus operators and the local authority to ensure public and school transport is maintained.
