OBAN Lorne RFC again opened its doors for the second Saturday morning running for the weekend’s British & Irish Lions win over New Zealand. More than 50 club members, players and visitors enjoyed a full cooked breakfast prepared by club volunteers while enjoying the rugby action live on the big screen.
This Saturday the club will again be hosting the same event with all welcome to attend for the deciding test match. The clubhouse will be open from 8am with breakfast offered at £8.50 per person. All proceeds will go towards club funds.
Also in attendance at the breakfast were members of Birmingham and Solihull Rugby Club who are completing a charity cycle of the UK to raise funds for a much need septic tank at their clubhouse.
