Any new organ for us is news, but an installation by an American company in a quintessentially British city is big news. Therefore Merton College Chapel had to appear on the cover, be featured as the pull-out and be the focus of our opening article. However, it did not make sense to repeat the specification etc. on the last page, so for this issue, we have moved the puzzles to a more traditional position; this may yet become their permanent home.
Most readers will know of William Lloyd Webber through his educational work; however, it is possible that his compositions are less well-known. Jane Watts attempts to solve this by writing a brief introduction to make Lloyd Webber's centenary.
Continuing our occasional digital series, Ann Elise Smoot investigates "free" music websites and after a brief sabbatical, Ronny Krippner returns for his final appearance in the Toolkit slot.
