Rohan More has become the first Asian to complete the Oceans Seven, the swimming equivalent of the Seven Summits mountaineering challenge. The Oceans Seven consists of the North Channel, the Cook Strait, the Molokai Channel, the English Channel, the Catalina Channel, the Tsugaru Strait and the Strait of Gibraltar. He becomes the ninth person to have successfully completed the challenge.
At 32, Rohan, from Pune in India, is also the youngest successful Oceans Seven swimmer. His final crossing was the Cook Strait in New Zealand, which he completed on 9 February in 8 hours 37 mins.
