MEET AND GREET

For the fifth year in a row the MK1 Golf Owners Club headed to Uttoxeter Racecourse for their Annual Gathering, which can only be described as the biggest and best collection of MK1 Golfs you will see this side of the water.

The gates opened promptly at 2pm on the Friday afternoon of the 11th annual Mk1 AGM and the sun was beaming down. While people were doing the usual of getting their tents set up and catching up with old friends and making new ones, Volkswagen showed up to drop off two, bubble stored, beautiful cars for members to view on the way into the show. One early Cabriolet and a Campaign, with little more than a few miles on their clocks between them.
