If you use it with full-frame lenses the shots appear to have been taken with a longer lens. But since less pixels are being used the resolution of the image drops. Each of the EOS R-series mirrorless cameras has the crop mode functionality, and the image resolution of cropped images is derived from the megapixel count of the sensor.
