Time to enjoy the great outdoors!
There can be little doubt, when it comes to family entertainment, the safest place to be in these worrying times is outdoors. It’s a place caravanners know well, using their tourers to bring them closer to coasts, moorland, forests, dales and mountains to enjoy walking, cycling, orienteering, birdwatching and messing about in boats. Sometimes you want to be entertained, and we applaud businesses bringing joy to short winter days. Light trails add sparkle (see right) and outdoor ice rinks make their own magic. Hampton Court’s (hrp.org.uk), for example, is open until 17 January. Meanwhile, we have tours in Dorset and France for y ou to enjoy (p28 and p34).
