If so, the latest offering from Eura Mobil might provide something of a compromise. The IL650HS is the slightly cheaper and shorter of two A-class line-ups from the company.
Eura Mobil isn’t widely seen in this country: although the German brand is part of the Trigano Group, it doesn’t have a wide network of UK dealers yet. But we were able to view this model at Geoff Cox Leisure, in Derbyshire.
You get a standard Ducato cab with drinks holders in the middle and the only door on the passenger side. Our test ’van was a Mondial Edition, which has two options packs as standard.
The Touring Package has an extra Heki, an Omnivent, a door flyscreen and an additional rooflight, while the Comfort Package has three features you might expect – cab air-con, cruise control and a rear-view camera – plus one you might not: inflatable lumbar support in the cab seats.
