Hello and welcome to the latest issue of Prog.
So, 90125 is 40 years old, then. And it seems like only yesterday that I was unwrapping a pristine vinyl copy on Christmas Day in 1983! True, the 80s was a turbulent time for some Yes fans, from seeing Buggles join the band for Drama to suddenly finding their prog heroes top the US singles charts. But, it was a necessary step in the evolution of the band as well as progressive music. Stephen Lambe’s intriguing cover story, which starts with Chris Squire and Alan White jamming with Jimmy Page, charts the creation of the album as Yes became a major musical force once again. You’ll find it on p28.
