A 180-YEAR-OLD viaduct designed by railway pioneer George Stephenson is undergoing a £3.7million restoration.
Grade II-listed Gauxholme Viaduct, near Todmorden, wil I be shotblasted back to bare metal for structural repairs before being restored to its original Victorian splendour.
The work requires a nine-day closure of the Blackburn to Manchester via Todmorden line between October 24 and November 1.
