HIGH Speed 2 Ltd has revealed a number of refinements to its proposals for Phase 2b of the £88billion railway in north-west England.
However, the absence of any mention of the eastern leg from Birmingham to Leeds via the East Midlands has intensified fears the Government plans to shelve this section.
