Jeff Siadek’s Battlestations Second Edition was a long time coming. The very modest original release hit the street in 2004, featuring thin cardboard tiles and paper standees. Yet Gorilla Games’ release clearly showcased a brilliance that found an audience. Battlestations, regardless of physical quality, was something special.
The second edition is a significant improvement. Now we have proper miniatures, a mountain of tiles, and hundreds of cards. It feels like a Fantasy Flight release of yesteryear with a box you could be comfortably buried in.
